ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 10: Trinity College’s Graduate Community (MCR) President is Raza Nazar, a University of Oxford Bachelor of Civil Laws (BCL) candidate.

Political philosophy, jurisprudence, and constitutional law are among his areas of scholarly interest. At the prestigious institution, Nazar is the first Pakistani to hold this position.
The London School of Economics (LSE), where he placed second in his year for Jurisprudence, awarded him a Double First in Law (LLB).

Along with his academic accomplishments, Raza Nazar was the first elected President of the LSE Law Society, which under his direction was awarded the 2018 “Best Student Society” title. At the London School of Economics, he presided over the LSE Pakistan Society as well.

Raza Nazar established the LSE Future of Pakistan Conference, a yearly student-run developmental conference that brings together academics, ministers, and students, at the age of 19.

Raza Nazar has written a number of publications. One of his pieces for the Oxford University Comparative Law Journal (OUCLJ) examined the Chief of Army Staff’s tenure extension in the Supreme Court case Jurists Foundation v. Federal Government.Raza hopes to contribute to research on the nature of constitutional responsibilities to collectives and investigate best practices for constitution-making in Asia using his broad academic and professional expertise.
