SARGODHA: Five brick kilns in different parts of the district were sealed by the environment protection department due to their contribution to environmental pollution, as reported on Monday. According to a spokesperson, the raiding teams targeted several areas including Melowal, Miani, and Chak Syeda Bala, resulting in the closure of kilns belonging to Shahid Murtaza, Imran, Zafar Hayyat, Muhammad Yar, and Muhammad Amir. Legal actions have been initiated against them.
