Islamabad, Feb 20: The German Consulate General in Karachi has announced a temporary closure from February 19 to 21 due to scheduled maintenance. During these three days, all visa-related services, including new applications and passport collection, will be unavailable.

In an official statement shared on social media, consulate officials apologized for any inconvenience this may cause to the public and advised individuals to plan their visits accordingly.

This is not the first time the consulate has temporarily suspended operations. Last year, it halted visa services for non-European Union (EU) citizens without providing a specific reason. However, previously approved visas for non-EU applicants remained available for collection.
