Islamabad, Aug 19: People all around Pakistan and the world commemorate World Humanitarian Day, On Monday.
In order to honor and promote the commitment of humanitarian workers and organizations dedicated to the welfare of people worldwide, the UN General Assembly established this day in 2009.
The subject for this year is defending civilians during armed conflicts. The hashtag #ActForHumanity is used by the UN to promote this goal for the 2024 campaign.
