Islamabad, Oct 18: Gold Price in Pakistan Hits All-Time High Amid Global Market Surge: Record-Breaking Rally Continues on Friday. The price of gold in Pakistan broke over the all-time high for the third day in a row.

The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) released data showing that the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs. 2,572 to Rs. 240,826 and the price of 24 carats of gold increased by Rs. 3,000 per tola to Rs. 280,900.

Gold prices jumped by Rs. 2,200 per tola on Wednesday, reaching a record high of Rs. 277,200 per tola. On Thursday, they dropped by Rs. 700 per tola, reaching yet another new high of Rs. 277,900.

For the first time ever, gold surged above $2,700 on the global market, with spot gold rising 0.7 percent to $2,711.75 an ounce by 0933 GMT, while US gold futures rose to $2,726.90, up 0.7 percent.
