Islamabad, Sep 30: 24 carat gold was sold for Rs. 275,500 per tola on Monday, down from Rs. 276,000 on the previous trading day. This is a Rs. 500 fall in price per tola.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs 428 to Rs 236,197 from Rs 236,625 while the cost of 10 kilos of 22 carat gold dropped to Rs 216,514 from Rs 216,907 as well.
Silver prices per tola and per ten grams stayed at Rs. 2,614.88 and Rs. 3,050, respectively.According to the Association, the price of gold dropped by $4 to $2,653 from $2,657 on the global market.
