Islamabad, Nov 1: Following a minor decline the day before, Pakistani gold prices experienced yet another significant decline on Friday, mirroring worldwide market patterns.

According to information released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs2,500 in the local market, finalizing at Rs284,700.

In a same vein, 10 grams of 24-karat gold now costs Rs244,084, down Rs2,144.

The price of gold fell by $25 on Friday on the global market as well, hitting $2,752 per ounce with a $20 premium.

In line with the recent fluctuations in gold prices, silver prices also fell precipitously by Rs20 on the local market, trading at Rs3,430 a tola.
