Islamabad, Sep 14: 24 carat gold was sold for Rs. 266,300 per tola on Friday, up Rs. 400 from the previous trading day’s sale of Rs. 265,900.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold grew by Rs. 343 to Rs. 228,309 from Rs. 227,966, while the cost of 10 grams of 22 carat gold increased to Rs. 209,283 from Rs. 208,970.
At Rs. 2,950 per tola and Rs. 2,529.14 per gram, respectively, the price of silver did not change.According to the Association, the price of gold on the global market went up by $11, from $2,566 to $2,577.
