Islamabad, Aug 31: 24 carat gold saw a 1,000 rupee gain in price per tola on Saturday, when it was sold for Rs. 262,500 as opposed to Rs. 261,500 on the previous trading day. According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold grew by Rs. 857 to Rs. 225,051 from Rs.
226,080, while the cost of 10 grams of 22 carat gold increased to Rs. 206,297 from Rs. 205,511.At Rs. 2,950 per tola and Rs. 2,529.14 per gram, respectively, the price of silver did not change.According to the Association, the price of gold dropped by $13 on the global market, from $2,516 to $2,503.
