Islamabad, Sep 21: Google Mocks Apple for Delayed Adoption of RCS Messaging. Google has continued to poke fun at Apple’s iPhone with the introduction of the newest version of its well-liked BestPhonesForever ad campaign. The series, which personifies both companies’ smartphones, is well-known for its lighthearted criticism of Apple’s mobile devices.

This new advertisement highlights Apple’s acceptance of the RCS (Rich Communication Services) standard, a noteworthy recent advancement in mobile messaging. After years of constant advocacy from Google, Apple eventually integrated RCS functionality with iOS 18, which was released earlier this week.

The introduction of RCS is a significant milestone in the history of cross-platform communication. Regardless of the operating system on their device, users of iPhones and Androids can now communicate high-quality photographs and movies via text messages for the first time.

Americans have mostly stuck with traditional text messaging, unlike many other regions of the world where messaging programs like WhatsApp, Telegram, and Facebook Messenger have proven popular. The early US phone plan bundling of text messagesa practice that other regions embraced much later is what led to this particular scenario.

With its signature comedy, Google’s latest video in the #BestPhonesForever series tries to take advantage of this cultural quirk. However, the viewer’s position in the iOS vs. Android argument may have a significant impact on how well the humorous commercial does. Some viewers could even find the film to be embarrassing.
