ISLAMABAD, JULY27: Google’s Gemini AI has been greatly enhanced by the addition of a new 1.5 Flash language model. With this update, Gemini can now analyze longer and more complicated pieces of information faster and more accurately.
Gemini’s context window (input limit) has increased from 8K tokens to 32K tokens, a 4x increase over its previous maximum.
The tweak broadens Gemini’s appeal as well. It is currently accessible in 230 countries globally and throughout Europe via Google Messages. Gemini may now be used by more individuals in their native tongue.
Gemini 1.5 Flash, which was first made available to paying users at Google I/O in May 2024, is now more generally available. Now that the AI is more advanced, Gemini’s free edition will be able to handle longer and more intricate requests.
Although users may now upload files to Gemini Advanced, free users will soon have access to this capability as well.
