ISLAMABAD, july26: The Secretary of the Ministry of IT and Telecom has been appointed by the federal government to a three-month term.
“With immediate effect, the Establishment Division announced on Thursday that Ms. Aisha Humera Ch., a BS-21 officer of the Secretariat Group, who is currently serving as the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication’s Additional Secretary, has been assigned current charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, in addition to her own duties, for a period of three months or until the regular incumbent is posted, whichever is earlier.
“This follows the removal of Secretary MoITT Captain (Retired) Muhammad Mehmood from his role two days prior by the Prime Minister.
