ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 14: With effect from August 1, 2024, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced on Tuesday the rates for re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL).
The RLNG transmission price for SNGPL has been established at $13.06 per MMBtu and $14.01 per MMBtu for distribution during August 2024, according to a statement issued by OGRA. Prices for both distribution and transmission have increased by about 3% from the previous month.
The transmission tariff for SSGC has been established at $11.89 per MMBtu, while the distribution rate is $13.58 per MMBtu. The increase in transmission and distribution costs since July 2024 has been around 3.2%.
