Islamabad, Sep 1: For September 2024, the price of 11.8-kilogram domestic cylinders would increase by Rs. 82.5 due to an increase in the price of domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) of Rs. 6.99 per kg.

The regulator said on Saturday that the consumer price of LPG for September will be Rs. 243.99 per kg. Customers will pay Rs. 2,879.1 for an 11.8-kilogram residential cylinder in September 2024 as opposed to Rs. 2,796.5 in August. It is important to note that Saudi Aramco-CP and the US dollar exchange rate have an impact on the price of LPG producers.

Consumer LPG prices climbed as a result of Saudi Aramco-CP rising by almost 3.7 percent from the previous month and a minor increase of 0.046 percent in the average US dollar exchange rate.
