Islamabad, Sep 7: Mohammad Ishaq Dar, the foreign minister and deputy prime minister, stated on Saturday that the administration was working to resurrect flights to and from the United Kingdom as soon as feasible.

Speaking to the Pakistani diaspora here, the deputy prime minister stated, “We have made every effort, even we changed the laws as per the latest requirements of the Aviation Authority of UK to solve the issue of resumption of PIA flights.”

The UK, and the West were grounded.DPM Dar declared that the government would, among other things, outsource Islamabad International Airport and privatize Pakistan Airlines (PIA).

He said, “I think that the British Pakistanis have shown to be the most vibrant, eloquent, diverse, and successful people who are contributing to the development of both Pakistan and the host country.” He emphasized that, among the foreign populations in the UK, the British Pakistani community also happened to be the most politically active.

“We have hundreds of councilors, two cabinet members, fifteen members in the house of commons, eleven members in the house of lords, and mayors and deputy mayors.” Additionally, they projected that it may take over ten years to escape the economic impasse.

Still, he insisted that the PML-N administration had brought the nation’s economy back on track in just 1.5 years after taking office. According to him, Pakistan’s economy ranked 24th in the world by 2017. The worst aspect of the nation’s economy, he claimed, was that the rank dropped to 47 in 2022 as a result of the next government’s poor leadership in the post-2018 period.

In reference to terrorism, the deputy prime minister stated in 2013 that the PML-N administration overcame the three main obstacles of extremism, the economy, and electrical load shedding as a result of its diligent work and wise policies. The deputy prime minister stated his dissatisfaction with the PTI government’s 2022 policy shift, which allowed bloodshed and terrorism to return to the nation.
