Islamabad, Oct 25: Governor Kundi Visits Turkish Aerospace Company at NUST to Show Solidarity Following Ankara Attack. Following the recent attack on Ankara’s aerospace site, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi paid a visit to the Turkish Aerospace Company’s Pakistan office at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) here on Friday to offer condolences and show support for the Turkish people.
Rizwan Riaz, the pro-rector of NUST, and Sohail Sajid, the country head of the Turkish Aerospace Company in Pakistan, welcomed the governor with open arms. Additionally present were officials from the Turkish Embassy and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).
“Pakistan and Turkey share a bond that goes beyond mere diplomacy,” Governor Kundi told reporters, highlighting the strong and long-lasting friendship between the two countries. It is a connection based on respect for one another, shared ideals, and history.
In times of need, both countries have supported one another not only as allies but also as brothers. “Pakistan knows too well the pain inflicted by terrorism,” he continued, reflecting on the effects of terrorism. We will keep collaborating to guarantee peace and stability for our peoples, and we stand firmly in solidarity with Turkey in the battle against terrorism.
In order to promote educational cooperation even more, Rizwan Riaz invited Governor Kundi to return to NUST during the visit. Additionally, he proposed additional programs aimed at women and youth in KP to the Governor, who also serves as the Chancellor of the state’s public colleges.
Through education and skill-building initiatives, Riaz underlined the significance of promoting gender inclusiveness and providing chances for the province’s youth. Governor Kundi and TIKA representatives also talked about possible partnerships for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa development projects, such as plans to build drug rehab facilities and boost the local economy.
“Our collaboration with Turkey is based on reciprocal assistance and common development goals. Together, we want to build stronger links between our countries and give the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa a better, healthier future,” the governor stated.
This visit serves as a reminder of Pakistan and Turkey’s resolve to fight together against hardship, help one another through difficult times, and keep building alliances that strengthen communities and advance common objectives.
