Islamabad, 16, Apr 2025: GuGo Box EV has officially entered the spotlight, shaking up the Pakistani electric vehicle market and intensifying the ongoing EV Price War.
With its recent pricing overhaul, GuGo Motors has taken a bold step to capture the attention of price-sensitive customers and challenge rivals head-on.
After the DongFeng Box was introduced in Pakistan via the Chawla Group who claim exclusive distribution rights GuGo Motors launched its own version, named the GuGo Box, and wasted no time in making an aggressive pricing move.

Just two months after the initial launch, the company has dramatically reduced the prices of all three of its EV variants E1, E2, and E3 by a remarkable Rs. 1,050,000 each.
Updated Pricing (PKR):
- Box E1 Eco: From 6,700,000 → 5,650,000
- Box E2 Plus: From 7,300,000 → 6,250,000
- Box E3 Premium: From 7,700,000 → 6,650,000
These new rates are valid for limited stock, with bookings open at an advance payment of Rs. 500,000. Deliveries are anticipated to begin in April.
Performance and Specifications
Every GuGo Box EV variant is equipped with a front-positioned permanent magnet motor delivering 70kW (94hp) of power and 180Nm torque.
The E1 comes with a 31.4 kWh battery and offers 330 km range, while the E2 and E3 include a 42.3 kWh battery, extending range to 430 km.
Top speed across all models is capped at 140 km/h, and the battery supports rapid charging up to 80% in just 30 minutes.
Style & Comfort
From frameless doors to powered concealed handles, the design stands out. Interior touches include:
- Fabric seating in E1; premium synthetic leather in E2 & E3
- Heated, ventilated, and memory-enabled seating in higher trims
- Dual-tone exterior shades in black, silver, and white
- 12” infotainment with Bluetooth and wireless charging in E2 & E3

Safety and Technology
GuGo Motors has integrated an extensive safety suite:
- Dual airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, TPMS, HSA
- Rear sensors, reverse cameras, and ISOFIX
- E3 offers ADAS, featuring AEB, LDW, ACC, 360° camera, and automated parking
In the current EV Price War, GuGo’s move has disrupted market expectations and appealed strongly to those seeking affordability without sacrificing tech or safety.
