Islamabad, Jan 18:The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) in Pakistan has finalized the arrangements for mandatory training sessions for pilgrims intending to participate in the Hajj 2025 program. The government has announced that these training sessions will be conducted at 147 locations across the country, ensuring that every participant is well-prepared for their spiritual journey.
The first session will commence tomorrow in Peshawar, with subsequent sessions scheduled nationwide. To streamline the process and ensure accurate tracking, pilgrims will register their attendance via QR codes using the Pak Haj mobile app.
For overseas Pakistanis, the training will take place at designated Haji Camps before their departure for Saudi Arabia.
The mandatory training’s initial phase will conclude by February 27, giving participants enough time to gain essential knowledge before their pilgrimage.

This initiative aligns with the Ministry’s continuous efforts to make the Hajj process more efficient and organized for all Pakistani pilgrims.
The Ministry’s preparation for Hajj 2025 follows the landmark agreement signed between Pakistan’s Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, and Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, on January 13. Under the agreement, 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims will have the opportunity to perform Hajj in 2025.
Notably, this arrangement promises enhanced facilities for Pakistani pilgrims, including affordable accommodation in Mina, aimed at easing the experience for the large number of pilgrims.
In addition to logistical improvements, Saudi Arabia has upgraded its “Nusuk” portal, a digital platform designed to facilitate Hajj and Umrah services. This updated portal offers a more user-friendly interface, allowing pilgrims to access essential services such as accommodation booking, transport arrangements, and other pilgrimage-related assistance.
The launch of this enhanced version of the Nusuk portal is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to improve the Hajj experience for Muslims worldwide, ensuring a smoother and more efficient pilgrimage.
With these comprehensive measures in place, the Ministry of Religious Affairs is demonstrating its commitment to ensuring that the Hajj 2025 experience for Pakistani pilgrims is as seamless and spiritually fulfilling as possible.
