Islamabad, Oct 19: Haramain Sharifain Launches New Locker System for Pilgrims, Enhancing Convenience and Security. To improve ease and security for pilgrims visiting the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah and the Grand Mosque in Makkah, the Haramain Sharifain administration has implemented a new locker system. This program aims to improve the caliber of services provided to tourists, which is consistent with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Between October 17 and November 15, pilgrims can apply for locker access; those who are accepted will be contacted. Visitors can focus on their prayers without worrying about security thanks to the program’s safe storage of their personal goods.
The royal clearance for the appointment of new imams to both mosques has been granted to the Haramain Sharifain authorities. Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Barhaji and Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al-Qarafi have been appointed to the Prophet’s Mosque, while Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, the Grand Mosque’s chief imam, has validated the appointments of Sheikh Badr Al-Turki and Sheikh Dr. Al-Walid Al-Shamsan to the Grand Mosque.
These advancements, which combine spiritual guidance with useful assistance during pilgrims’ religious journeys, represent important milestones toward enhancing the pilgrims’ overall experience.
