Islamabad, Sep 11: China’s Premier Li Qiang was met by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, at the Royal Court in Riyadh today, according to SPA.

The national anthems of China and Saudi Arabia were played during an official reception ceremony arranged in the premier’s honor. At the Fourth Meeting of the High-Level Saudi-Chinese Joint Committee, which was headed by the Chinese premier and the crown prince, they talked about collaboration and coordination with a focus on trade opportunities, political and security issues, energy, investment, culture, and technology.

They also discussed the efforts made by both nations in this area, as well as regional and global events. The minutes of the fourth meeting of the High-Level Saudi-Chinese Joint Committee were signed by the Chinese premier and the Crown Prince.

The Chinese premier was honored at an official luncheon hosted by the Crown Prince.
Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard; Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah; Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan; Minister of State; Cabinet Member; and National Security Advisor; Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; Minister of Commerce; Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Kassabi (accompanying minister); Minister of Tourism; Ahmed Al-Khateeb; Minister of Investment; Eng. Khalid Al-Falih; Minister of Finance; Minister of Finance; Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dossary,Yasir Al-Rumayyan, governor of the Public Investment Fund, and Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Harbi, Saudi ambassador to China.

Chinese officials in attendance were Chang Hua, the Chinese ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao, and Minister of Industry and Information Technology Jin Zhuanglong.
