Islamabad, Oct 23: Huawei Nova 13 Pro Launches with Innovative Telephoto Zoom Selfie Camera. The Huawei Nova 13 series which includes the vanilla Nova 13 and the Nova 13 Pro, at least for the time being became officially recognized in China. Although not quite flagship phones, these are high-end models, particularly the Nova 13 Pro.

Display and Design

Nova 13 Pro (right) and Nova 13 (left). The 6.7-inch OLED display on Huawei’s Nova 13 has a resolution of 1084 x 2412. With a 300Hz touch sampling rate and a 120Hz refresh rate, users can anticipate fluid images and incredibly rapid touch interaction. 1,440 Hz PWM dimming is used to improve eye comfort, and an integrated fingerprint sensor offers security.

The 6.76-inch panel of the Pro variant is the same size, but it is an LTPO OLED panel with a higher 2,160Hz PWM dimming and an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. For a fast response time, the resolution is also adjusted to 1224 x 2776 while maintaining the same 300Hz touch sampling rate.

Software and Internals

As is customary, Huawei has not disclosed the chipsets that drive these devices; nonetheless, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB storage options are available. Although the RAM quantity was not disclosed, both phones offer the same storage options. HarmonyOS 4.2 boots up on the phones.

Huawei Nova 13 Pro cameras

A 50MP primary lens with an f/1.9 aperture and an 8 MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture make up the dual rear camera configuration of the basic Nova 13. The f/2.4 aperture 60MP front-facing camera will be appreciated by selfie fans.

The Pro model sports three cameras: an 8MP ultrawide, a 12MP 3x telephoto, and a 50MP primary camera with variable aperture. Both phones have the ability to record 4K video.
However, the front camera is the most notable.

There is an 8MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, which is almost unique among contemporary smartphones, in addition to the 60MP selfie camera that is shared with the vanilla Nova 13.

Pricing and Battery

The two phones have identical battery specs, with a 5,000 mAh capacity and lightning-fast 100W wired charging but no compatibility for wireless charging.

In China, the Huawei Nova 13 and 13 Pro are available for $378 and $519, respectively. When these phones will be released on the global market is unknown.
