Islamabad, Aug 26: For the purpose of exploring and developing mineral mines in Pakistan, Hub Power Holdings Limited (HPHL), a wholly owned subsidiary of The Hub Power Company Limited (PSX: HUBC), has partnered with Ark Metals (Private) Limited and its shareholders in a joint venture.
The company told the main bourse on Monday that “the consummation of this joint venture agreement is subject to the necessary regulatory approvals and consents.”
The Company’s main endeavors are the creation, acquisition, management, and upkeep of power plants. The company owns the Hub plant, a 1,200 MW (net) oil-fired power station in Balochistan.
HUBC’s shares on the market were trading at Rs. 155.16 at the time of reporting, up 6.1 percent or Rs. 8.92 with more than 21.2 million shares on Monday.
