Islamabad, Jan 10: Ihsanullah, the 20-year-old Pakistani pacer renowned for his blistering speeds exceeding 150 km/h, has expressed his determination to return to his peak performance levels despite facing significant challenges from a career-threatening elbow injury. In a recent interview, he confidently stated, “It doesn’t matter whether my elbow is straight or not; I will start bowling at 150 KPH in one month.”

This bold assertion comes amid concerns from various quarters regarding his recovery. Ali Tareen, owner of Multan Sultans, revealed that Ihsanullah’s injury was mishandled, leading to scarring and reduced arm mobility. Tareen stated, “He will never be able to bowl in the same way because he does not have a straight arm.”

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also expressed apprehension over the prolonged recovery process. A PCB source noted that Ihsanullah’s rehabilitation has been extended over a year, with concerns about his commitment to the prescribed program.

Despite these challenges, Ihsanullah remains resolute in his goal to return to the elite 150 km/h pacer club. His unwavering confidence underscores his determination to overcome the setbacks and reclaim his position as a formidable force in international cricket.
