Islamabad, Mar 09, 2025: India and New Zealand have been among the most consistent teams in ICC events over the past decade.

Since 2011, India have played 86 matches in ICC white-ball tournaments, securing 70 victories—significantly ahead of Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.

Australia have won 49 out of 77 matches, while New Zealand and South Africa each have 45 wins from the same number of games.

In the 14 ICC men’s events leading up to the 2025 Champions Trophy—including two World Test Championship (WTC) finals—India have reached the knockout stage in all but two tournaments.

Their record includes four semi-final exits, five runner-up finishes, and three championship wins. Notably, India were unbeaten in their title-winning campaigns in the 2013 Champions Trophy and the 2024 T20 World Cup.

New Zealand have also displayed remarkable consistency, reaching the knockouts eight times, with four semi-final finishes and three runner-up performances.

They clinched the WTC title in 2021 by defeating India. No other teams have reached the semi-finals as often as these two sides in the past decade.

India’s white-ball performance has been particularly dominant, advancing five times to the knockout rounds without losing a single match.

In the ODI World Cup and Champions Trophy group stages since 2011, India have lost only three out of 38 matches, achieving an impressive win-to-loss ratio of 11.333—far surpassing Australia’s 2.555.

Their last group-stage defeat occurred against England in 2019, followed by 14 consecutive wins.
