The Ministry of Industry and Production issued a statement on Saturday, refuting rumors regarding the withdrawal of gas subsidy for fertilizer companies as baseless. The Ministry’s spokesperson emphasized that this issue was never on the cabinet’s agenda.
Clarifying further, he mentioned that gas prices for fertilizer companies will be decided by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) according to established rules to ensure stability in fertilizer prices. He urged against unnecessary speculation concerning fertilizer prices.
