Islamabad, Aug 25: Imagine browsing Instagram and coming across a profile that, in addition to gorgeous photographs and clever biographies, draws your attention right away because it features a music that encapsulates the persona behind the account.
Instagram is now allowing you to upload music to your profile as an additional means of expression. The most recent addition to the platform allows users to add a song to their profile, enabling their favorite music to greet guests. The music you select, whether it’s an homage to bygone eras or the newest hit song, will play for 30 seconds, giving viewers a peek of who you are even before a word is spoken or an image is seen.
Everyone may use this Instagram upgrade, from producers to casual users, to make their profile more distinctive and dynamic.
How to Add a Song to Your Profile:
Update Your App: Ensure that Instagram is up to date on your device.
Edit Profile: Select “Edit Profile” from your profile page.
Added Music: A new option labeled “Add Music” will appear. Give it a tap.
Select Your Song: Look through Instagram’s licensed music collection or run a search for your favorite song.
Choose a 30-second snippet of the song you wish to have featured on your profile.
Save: After you are satisfied with your choice, save it, and you are done.

This function was first tested by Instagram in 2022, and it has now been available for about two years. Sabrina Carpenter first unveiled the feature on her page, where she also included a preview of her new single, “Taste.”
