Islamabad, Oct 20: International Day of Air Traffic Controllers Marked Globally to Honor Aviation Safety Heroes. In honor of the crucial role air traffic controllers play in maintaining the safety of air travel, today is the International Day of Air Traffic Controllers.

Air traffic controllers are in charge of directing hundreds of flights across Pakistani airspace and ensuring that they take off and land safely. By guaranteeing that airplanes fly safely on approved routes, air traffic controllers protect millions of lives every day, making them indispensable to the aerospace sector. In addition to guiding many international aircraft that pass through Pakistan, their responsibilities go beyond domestic flights.

The festival emphasizes how vital air traffic controllers are to the aviation industry. The Pakistan Air Traffic Controllers Guild President, Asif Rasool, emphasized their proficiency in guaranteeing the safe operation of both domestic and international planes.
