Islamabad, JULY25: According to reports, Apple will discontinue the iPhone Plus model next year and replace it with the very thin iPhone 17 Slim. Like Apple’s most recent iPad Pro, this next phone is anticipated to be the smallest iPhone ever.
Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known Apple analyst, asserts that the current iPhone Plus only makes up 5–10% of total iPhone sales. That’s probably why Apple is cutting it: poor performance.
The 6.6-inch screen of Apple’s next iPhone 17 Slim will have a resolution of 1260 x 2740 pixels. The A19 processor, which powers the iPhone 17 Pro variants, is a less potent variant of the A19 chip.
The phone will have a titanium alloy frame with a smaller titanium content than the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, and it will still have the same Dynamic Island design as the current iPhones.
The single back camera, which deviates from the multi-camera norm, is a startling reduction. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, however, predicts Apple will prioritize the phone’s design above its hardware.
