Islamabad, Sep 18: Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, paid Khawaja Muhammad Asif, the minister of defense, defense production, and aviation, a visit on Wednesday.

According to a news release, the Defense Minister emphasized that Pakistan and Iran have friendly and brotherly relations that are supported by long-standing religious and cultural affinities.

The Minister emphasized the significance of the Joint Border Commission, stating that Pakistan has taken all required steps to manage its borders and that cooperative efforts on the matter ought to continue. Both parties expressed pleasure with the current state of bilateral cooperation and vowed to keep it going in areas of shared interest.
