Islamabad, Sep 7: The Police Education Wing of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) has arranged a series of four-day training on road safety.
The ICT Public Relations Officer stated that the ICT Police Education Wing arranged four-day workshops on road safety for drivers employed by government institutions, as per the special directives of ICT Inspector General (IG) Police Syed Nasir Ali Rizvi.According to him, the goal of these workshops is to improve the driving abilities and safety consciousness of drivers employed by different government agencies.
ICT Police is hosting four days of workshops on road safety.According to him, 250 drivers, members of the education wing of SSP Traffic Islamabad Muhammad Sarfraz Virk, and other employees of the government agency attended the session. He claimed that the session participants received knowledge on traffic legislation, cautious driving, and other subjects.
Additionally, he said that the ICT Police education wing provided training to staff members and drivers on topics such as respecting the rights of other road users, using seatbelts, riding motorcycles without a helmet, using headlights, zebra crossings, speeding, and other traffic laws.
He continued, “Education wing officers gave participants traffic law advice and driving caution during the event to ensure their safety and the safety of others.”
At the time, the SSP Traffic said that the ICT Police are doing a professional job of educating drivers about traffic laws and road safety. It is the obligation of the police to do this. He went on to say that the Islamabad Police’s first priority is safeguarding the lives and property of its citizens. He said that a case has been filed against the arrested accused and that additional investigation is now underway.
