Islamabad, JULY23: The application deadline for the fall semester has been extended by the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) to July 29 (Monday). Admissions to more than 100 programs across its eleven faculties are covered by this expansion.
The university management made this choice in response to the high level of interest and repeated requests from potential students requesting an extension to submit their applications, according to a press release released on Monday.
At the Bachelor of Science (BS), Master of Science (MS), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) levels, IIUI provides admission to a variety of programs. The courses are offered by eleven faculties:
Political science, psychology, and sociology are among the fields taught at the faculty of social sciences.
The Faculty of Sciences encompasses disciplines such as physics, chemistry, and biology.
Courses in marketing, finance, and business administration are available at the Faculty of Management Sciences.
Islamic banking, finance, and economics are the main areas of focus for the International Institute for Islamic Economics.
Arabic Language and Literature Studies are offered by the Arabic Faculty.
Islamic law, Hadith, and Quranic studies are all included in the Faculty of Usuluddin (Islamic Studies).
The Faculty of Languages and Literature provides courses in a range of languages and the literatures that go along with them.
Electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering are among the engineering disciplines covered by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
The Faculty of Shariah and Law focuses on both general law and Islamic law, or Shariah.
Programs in computer science, information technology, and software engineering are available through the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology.
Courses in education and teaching techniques are offered by the faculty of education.
In order to meet the demands of applicants and make sure that all interested students have the chance to apply for their desired programs, the university decided to extend the deadline.
