Islamabad, 20 April 2025: Former Pakistan head coach, Jason Gillespie, has revealed that PCB has yet to clear his dues, months after he stepped down from the role.
Gillespie, who took charge as the red-ball coach in April last year, parted ways with the PCB in December, citing irreconcilable differences.
Since then, the former Australian fast bowler has openly criticized the board, expressing disappointment over his experience.
In a recent interview with a local sports outlet, Gillespie clarified that he harbors no resentment towards Pakistan cricket.

However, he stated that his compensation for the nine months he spent in the coaching role remains unpaid.
Without delving into specifics, the 50-year-old admitted the delay has been frustrating.
The former Australian pace expressed hope that the matter would be resolved soon, describing the situation as “a bit disappointing.”
Earlier this month, Gillespie had said his stint with Pakistan had dampened his enthusiasm for coaching.
While confident that his passion would eventually return, he admitted the way things ended in Pakistan left a lasting impact on him.

He described the experience as a blow to his professional spirit and questioned whether he wished to return to full-time coaching.
Gillespie had earlier criticized the internal culture of the cricket authority in Pakistan citing disunity and politics as major hurdles in his role.
He had also accused interim head coach Aqib Javed of undercutting his authority, going so far as to label him unprofessional.
He remarks add to the growing list of former foreign coaches and support staff who have raised concerns about management issues within Pakistan cricket.
The PCB has yet to issue a response regarding Gillespie’s claims.
