Islamabad, Aug 31: The results of the 2024 Matric General Group exams, which included regular and private students as well as those with speech and hearing impairments, were released by the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) on Friday.

Girls took the top three spots in the tests, according to BSEK. The results were announced by BSEK Acting Controller of Examinations Tariq Kareem, and BSEK Secretary Dr. Naveed Ahmad commended the staff and teachers for their efforts in making sure the results were released on time.

He reported that out of the 16,384 students who registered for the General Group exam, 16,132 showed up, and 253 did not show up.

Students from Iqra Huffaz School took home the top three spots in the General Group (Regular). First place went to Laiba Bint with 88.46% of the possible points, followed by Habiba Munir (88.18%) and Muhammad Taufiq’s daughter Anshrah (88.09%).

The previous deadline for all education boards in the province to release the results of the matriculation and intermediate exams was September 15th, established by Sindh Universities & Boards Secretary Muhammad Abbas Baloch.In order to guarantee consistency and prompt delivery, all education boards in Sindh have been instructed to announce the results of the matriculation and intermediate exams by September 15th, according to a press release released on Wednesday night.
