Islamabad, Sep 24: The forecast from the Early Warning Center of the Meteorological Department states that there is no possibility of rain in Karachi because of the new system that is expected to reach the nation.

The city’s temperature is predicted to be in the 35–36 degree range today and tomorrow, with the possibility of reaching 36 degrees on Thursday. It is anticipated that sea breezes in Karachi will continue to be active, and the actual heat may feel more oppressive due to humidity levels ranging from 55% to 65%.

While a wave of westerly winds from the Bay of Bengal is predicted to hit the country’s higher areas starting on September 25, Karachi would not be affected by this system, according to Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz.

He also mentioned that there was a chance of isolated rain and thunder in the areas around Umerkot, Tharparkar, Mirpurkhas, and the neighboring areas on September 26 and 28. Sardar Sarfraz underlined that there is no chance of rain for Karachi, though. The speaker stated that the city’s average maximum temperature will be approximately 35°C, with the possibility of reaching 36°C on some days.

The city’s citizens might find some respite from the heat after this time due to a change in wind patterns, he added. A 2 to 3°C drop in temperature is possible. Residents are encouraged to stay hydrated during this heat wave and take the appropriate safety measures against the high temperatures as the city prepares for more heat.
