Islamabad, JULY27: The Sui Southern spokesperson stated that the shutdown, which affects both domestic and industrial consumers, is caused by the connection work on the transmission pipeline. The spokesperson mentioned that the affected areas include Surjani Town, Manghopir, Qasba Town, Orangi, North Karachi, North Nazimabad, FB Area, Gulberg, Buffer Zone, Site Industrial Area, Baldia, Ittehad Town, Kemari, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Ahsanabad, Janjal Goth, and the vicinity of the Super Highway.
The gas supply will be turned off starting at five a.m. on July 28 and turned back on at five a.m. on July 29. It is recommended that consumers make arrangements for alternate fuel sources during this time. In other news, Sindh’s new gas reserves were recently found by Mari Petroleum Company. Three more million metric standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of gas have been produced, tested, and transmitted by the corporation.

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) is now receiving natural gas from the Ghazij Gas Field, according to Mari Petroleum. It’s also crucial to remember that miscreants in Mach destroyed a 24-inch-diameter Sui gas pipeline, disrupting the delivery of gas to several locations, including Quetta. The gas supply was completely shut off as a result of the explosion.
