Islamabad, Aug 6: Karachi’s private schools have brazenly disobeyed the Sindh government’s orders.Even though it’s still summer vacation, a number of private schools have started back up today. The proclamation made by the Sindh government, which said that all schools must stay closed till August 15, is being directly violated by this move.
These schools have called in pre-kindergarten, nursery, and kindergarten students under the pretense of getting ready for the August 14 Independence Day celebrations, trying to rationalize their actions. Parents and educators are worried about this decision and wonder if it is safe to resume schools before the formal conclusion of the summer holiday.
