Islamabad, Oct 12: Karachi Weather Update Searing Heat Persists as Low-Pressure Area Forms in Arabian Sea

The Met Office reported that a low-pressure region emerged in the Arabian Sea southeast of Karachi, causing the city to experience intense weather.

Over the next 24 hours, Karachi weather Update is expected to stay hot and dry, with today’s high probably staying between 37 and 39 degrees Celsius.

The lowest temperature of the day was 24.4 °C with 51% humidity.

In latitude 17.0 N and longitude 72.0 E, roughly 1000 kilometers southeast of Karachi, a low-pressure area formed over the Southeast Arabian Sea.

Because of the favorable weather over the next two to three days, the system is anticipated to condense into a Depression and move initially northwest, according to the Met Office.

Thar Parkar, Mithi, Sujawal, Badin, and surrounding places are likely to have rainfall, while the majority of Sindh’s districts will continue to experience hot, dry weather.

Certain areas of the coastal belt are predicted to see thunderstorms and rain along with wind.

Today will be dry for most of Baluchistan’s areas as well.

According to the Met, the current hot, dry weather—which will likely last into next week—will continue into Karachi, where daily highs of 38 to 40 degrees Celsius are predicted.
