Kia Motors Pakistan has unveiled a subtle upgrade to its crossover SUV, the Kia Sportage, but with a twist. In a recent social media announcement, the company revealed the refresh exclusively in the form of a limited edition version of the vehicle. “Presenting a bold new appearance for the Kia Sportage Limited Edition featuring a distinctive new emblem,” the company disclosed. This implies that the new emblem will be exclusive to the limited white edition and not available across all models or variants of the car.

Kia Sportage Limited Edition Dubbed “Clear White,” Kia Motors introduced the Kia Sportage Limited Edition in November 2023. The vehicle boasts a sleek black front grille, lower grille, side skirts, fog lamps, and emblem. A comprehensive initial review of this edition delved into the detailed changes made to both the exterior and interior.

Exterior Alterations While retaining the familiar front lip of the Sportage equipped with fog lights, halogen lights, projection lamps, DRLs, and LED indicators, a black trim now adorns the overall bumper. The Kia badging has been transformed into black, accompanied by a subtly modified front grille featuring a black chrome accent. Additionally, the previously plastic-finished front spoiler has been upgraded to gloss black.

This limited edition comes fitted with black alloy wheels boasting a 19-inch rim paired with KUMHO tires sized 245/45/R19, distinguishing it from the standard Sportage, which features an 18-inch rim and tire size of 225/55/R18. The introduction of these wider tires contributes to a more aggressive aesthetic. Moreover, the windows garnish and door guards have transitioned from the standard plastic finish to gloss black, enhancing the SUV’s overall sleekness.

The rear profile of the limited edition showcases subtle changes, such as the black Kia logo and other Sportage badging, with the AWD insignia also appearing in black. Additionally, all other plastic and chrome elements have been transformed into gloss black, offering a refined look. While these minute alterations may not have been as noticeable on the black edition, they add a distinct dimension to the new white edition.

Interior Adjustments Transitioning to the interior, the previous beige-dominated aesthetics have been replaced with gloss black accents. All upholstery aligns with the darker theme, complemented by leather padding on the door panels. However, the roof liner and panoramic roof remain unchanged.

Unfortunately, the OEM has retained the silver garnish on the console, infotainment system, and cup holders, which would have been better suited to the overall black theme.

Safety and technology features remain consistent, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Electronic Parking Brake, Parking Sensors, Downhill Assist, Auto Hold, Diff Lock, Drive Modes, and Cruise Control. Rear AC vents are standard across all variants, with unchanged charging ports, USB inlets, and 12V ports, though the absence of a wireless charging spot is notable.
