Islamabad, Dec 1: An annual endowment fund established by the two will help 7000 out-of-school females with their education each year. In Pakistan, Lifebuoy Shampoo has always been a trailblazer in paving the way for ladies’ education. Through its numerous programs and advertising campaigns, the company has consistently placed a strong emphasis on educating the nation’s females.

With 14 million girls still not attending school, Lifebuoy Shampoo has stayed committed to getting Pakistani girls back in the classroom so they can grow up to contribute to the advancement of their country and have better, more promising futures.

Lifebuoy Shampoo has previously collaborated with The Citizens Foundation (TCF) on several occasions. The two organizations are fervently committed to empowering girls and promoting their education, and they share similar beliefs and aspirations for changing the world.

Both groups aim to address long-standing systemic impediments including gender inequity and educational access, and their prior partnerships have always focused on community outreach and empowering girls via education.

In keeping with this ethos, Lifebuoy Shampoo and TCF have announced an outstanding collaboration that seeks to improve the lives of 7,000 girls annually throughout Pakistan by giving them greater chances and enabling them to follow their aspirations. Today’s inspirational and poignant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony strengthened the partnership.

Dr. Sidra Iqbal, the event’s host, asked the girls in the front row what they hoped to become when they grew up. While some of the girls spoke enthusiastically about their aspirations to become doctors, others expressed their strong desire to become “ustaad” (teachers), highlighting the importance of education and the profound influence that a skilled educator can have on developing minds.

The crowd gave a loud round of applause when one of the girls declared, “I want to become a secret agent.” This demonstrated the kids’ extraordinary potential and their optimism for a better future.

The goal of this partnership is to remove the obstacles preventing females from realizing their full potential. As evidenced by their recent “Beti Parhao Mazboot Banao” campaign, which urged moms to support their daughters’ education, Lifebuoy Shampoo has long been an advocate for girls’ education.

The campaign encouraged moms to be strong and provide their daughters the support they need to achieve, stressing that education is not only a privilege but also an essential step in providing them with a better future. The project is a logical progression of that goal.

Through this collaboration, Lifebuoy Shampoo keeps up its goal of empowering girls by giving them access to resources, support, and education. A generation of young women who can dream big, overcome challenges, and help create a better future for themselves and the nation is being shaped by Lifebuoy Shampoo and TCF’s educational investments.

In addition to funding education, the endowment fund fosters an atmosphere that allows girls to develop freely and become agents of change, which eventually helps to make Pakistan more prosperous, inclusive, and forward-thinking.
