Islamabad, Nov 27: Mari Petroleum Plans Rebrand: Seeks Approval to Become Mari Energies Limited. To change its name to Mari Energies Limited, Mari Petroleum Company Limited (PSX: MARI) is requesting shareholder approval. The resolution to change the company’s name from “Mari Petroleum Company Limited” to “Mari Energies Limited,” pending approval from the Registrar, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), will be presented at the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders of Mari Petroleum Company Limited on Thursday, December 19, 2024.
If authorized, the Managing Director and the Company Secretary will be able to sign and execute all relevant documents and take all necessary actions for the name change, either individually or in tandem.
“Any necessary amendment, modification, addition, or deletion of the aforementioned resolutions may be made, and such amendment, modification, addition, or deletion shall not require fresh approval of members,” the document further stated.
