Building on the momentum of the Maryam Nawaz Laptop Scheme, she announced the launch of the Honhaar Scholarship Programme for Gujranwala Division, aimed at empowering academically talented students with financial support and cutting-edge tools.

Eligibility for Laptops
Students achieving over 65% in their academic results will qualify to receive laptops, ensuring that high achievers are equipped with modern resources to excel further.
Honhaar Scholarship Programme Highlights
- Scholarship Distribution:
- A total of 1,947 students from Gujranwala Division will benefit from scholarships valued at Rs89.8 million.
- 1,276 government university students will receive Rs58.5 million in scholarships.
- 481 college students will be awarded Rs13.2 million.
- Additionally, 112 private institution students and 78 medical college students will also receive financial support.
- Budget Expansion:
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has mandated an expansion of the scholarship programme to accommodate 50,000 students in the upcoming year, a significant increase from the current 30,000 beneficiaries.
