Islamabad, Feb 10: Thousands of exam papers from the previous year have mysteriously disappeared from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Faculty, causing widespread concern among students and parents. Despite ongoing investigations, no department has taken responsibility for the missing documents.
Official records indicate that both the Secrecy and Conduct Sections have denied any involvement, further complicating the situation. In response, the Director General has formally reached out to all concerned departments, demanding an explanation. However, even after a week, there has been no clear accountability regarding which department was in charge of safeguarding these critical examination papers.
This alarming development has left thousands of paramedic students in distress, as they are unable to verify their academic records. Parents and students alike are urging the authorities to expedite the investigation and provide a resolution at the earliest.
Meanwhile, in an effort to prevent academic malpractice, the interim government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced a suspension of mobile tower services near examination centers. This measure will be implemented on November 26, 2024, during the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT), in an attempt to ensure a fair and transparent examination process.
