Islamabad, Sep 17: In honor of Masatsugu Asakawa’s visit to Islamabad as President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Ministry of Economic Affairs arranged a tour of the city.

According to a news statement released here on Tuesday, President Asakawa visited Pakistan Monuments in Shakarparian and Faisal Mosque with Secretary of Economic Affairs Dr. Kazim Niaz. President ADB is given a city tour by the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
President Asakawa placed flowers at the Martyrs’ Monument and planted a tree at Pakistan Monuments. President Asakawa was given a Ghandhara art album, a cultural headgear from Gilgit-Baltistan, and a scarf from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by the Secretary of Economic Affairs upon his arrival.
President Asakawa lauded Pakistan Monuments for being an exceptional showcase of the nation’s cultural legacy in addition to being a lovely leisure area.President Asakawa and Secretary Niaz visited Pakistan Monuments before going to the Faisal Mosque.
