Islamabad, Oct 14: Rana Riaz Ahmed Khan, a member of the national assembly (MNA), gave out “Himmat Cards” to people with disabilities here on Monday.
To this aim, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Waheed Hassan Gondal along with other departmental executives attended a ceremony held in “Municipal Hall.”
Seventy tehsil members who deserved them received the cards.
Speaking at the event, the MNA stated that the Punjab government, inspired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, has made a significant advancement by introducing “Himmat Cards,” which allow people with disabilities to participate in society on an equal footing.
