Nearby low-lying areas were submerged when the 290 millimeters of rain in Sukkur smashed a record that had stood for 77 years. Likewise, unceasing precipitation in Larkana, Qaziabad, and Jacobabad overswept several settlements, causing devastation in diverse regions.
