ISLAMABAD, JULY20: Strong monsoon currents are predicted to move from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal into the upper regions beginning on July 22, according to the Met Office. The following will be brought about by this weather system:
Kashmir: From the evening of July 21 to July 27, with sporadic breaks, rain and thunderstorms, including some heavy showers, are predicted in the Kashmir area (Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Poonch, Hattian, Bagh, Haveli, Sudhanoti, Kotli, Bhimber, and Mirpur).
Punjab/Islamabad: From July 22 to July 25, with sporadic breaks, rain and thunderstorms with the possibility of heavy showers are predicted for Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Murree, Galliyat, Attock, Chakwal, Tala Gang, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Wazirabad, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Narowal, Sahiwal, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Nankana Sahib, Chiniot, Faisalabad, Okara, Pakpattan, Kasur, Khushab, Sargodha, Bhakkar, and Mianwali. On July 23 and 24, similar conditions will be experienced in Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Khanewal, Lodhran, Muzaffargarh, Kot Addu, Rajanpur, Rahimyar Khan, and Layyah.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: From the evening of July 22 to July 24, with sporadic gaps in between, rain and thunderstorms, with the possibility of some heavy showers, are predicted for Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Malakand, Bajaur, Shangla, Battagram, Buner, Kohat, Mohmand, Khyber, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Peshawar, Swabi, Nowshera, Mardan, Charsadda, Hangu, Kurram, Orakzai, Waziristan, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, and Dera Ismail Khan.
Balochistan: Mostly hot and muggy weather is predicted for the province. On July 23 and 24, with sporadic breaks, rain and thunderstorms are predicted for the northern and eastern regions of Balochistan (Khuzdar, Kalat, Lasbella, Awaran, Ziarat, Zhob, Barkhan, Musa Khel, Shirani, Kohlu, Harnai, Naseerabad, and Jaffarabad).
Sindh: Hot and muggy weather is predicted for the province. On July 23 and 24, with sporadic breaks, rain and thunderstorms are predicted for Mithi, Sanghar, Umarkot, Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, Sukkur, Larkana, and Dadu.
Gilgit-Baltistan: Precipitation there is expected to range from partly overcast to cloudy. With sporadic pauses, rain is predicted in the area (Diamir, Astore, Skardu, Gilgit, Ghanche, Shigar) from July 22 to July 27.
