Motorola has stated that it would begin selling the thinnest “military grade” smartphone in the world in India. When a product bears the military grade designation, it has successfully passed the MIL-STD-810 certification durability test, proving its resilience to drops, high temperatures, and high humidity.
Although Motorola hasn’t disclosed the phone’s name, rumors suggest that the incoming Edge 50 Neo might be a contender. This gadget, which is anticipated to replace the Edge 40 Neo that was introduced last year, is said to include a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 CPU with many RAM and storage configurations.
Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a 6.5-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz are speculated features of the Edge 50 Neo. According to reports, the smartphone will include three cameras: a 10MP telephoto lens, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP primary sensor.
There is a 32MP front camera for taking selfies. It is anticipated that the phone would weigh 171 grams, have an 8.1mm thick body, and a 4,310 mAh battery. Rumored color choices are Grisaille, Poinciana, Latte, and Nautical Blue.
The Motorola teaser campaign has already started, so an official announcement is not far off. The teaser just states, “coming soon,” rather than providing a specific launch date. Regarding a worldwide launch, nothing has been said.
