Islamabad, Feb 25: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a groundbreaking service that enables citizens to deposit funds into over 50 banks via its e-Sahulat platform. This initiative, launched in collaboration with 1LINK, is set to enhance financial accessibility across Pakistan, particularly for individuals with limited access to conventional banking.

The agreement was formalized at a signing ceremony attended by the Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, Saleemullah, and NADRA Chairman. With over 9,000 e-Sahulat franchises integrated into the system, users can now deposit money seamlessly with biometric verification, ensuring security and convenience. NADRA officials highlighted that this move aligns with the government’s broader digital banking agenda, fostering financial inclusion and reducing dependency on cash transactions.

In a parallel development, NADRA has announced new job openings for Assistant Director positions in Islamabad. The authority is seeking candidates for the roles of Assistant Director (Business Analyst) and Assistant Director (Technical Writer), both offered on a contractual basis. Applicants must have a minimum of three years of relevant experience. The Business Analyst position requires a four-year degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field, while the Technical Writer role mandates a Computer Science degree and proficiency in MS Office. The deadline for applications is March 9.

With these initiatives, NADRA continues to strengthen its role in Pakistan’s digital evolution, not only by modernizing financial services but also by expanding career opportunities for skilled professionals in the tech-driven economy.
