Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Embassy of Saudi Arabia on Saturday, where he was warmly received by Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Maliki.
During their meeting, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Maliki discussed various topics of mutual interest, as well as the strengthening of Pak-Saudi relations and enhancing cooperation across different sectors.
The Saudi Ambassador assured full support for the enhancement of Islamabad Police, while Federal Minister Naqvi expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for arranging accommodation for Frontier Corps (FC) officers.
Additionally, the discussion touched upon the upcoming visit of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman to Pakistan, as well as the issuance of travel documents for Muslims from Burma.
Addressing the gathering, Mohsin Naqvi highlighted the historic and fraternal bond between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan evolving into mutually beneficial economic ties. He emphasized the successful recent visit of Saudi investors to Pakistan and the anticipation surrounding the upcoming visit of the Saudi Crown Prince.
The Federal Interior Minister emphasized that Pakistan has paved the way for the visit of Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, which is expected to significantly impact the relations between the two nations. He acknowledged Saudi Arabia’s consistent support to Pakistan during challenging times, emphasizing the growing bilateral relations.
Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed expressed commitment to providing comprehensive support for the modernization of Islamabad police. He reiterated Saudi Arabia’s profound regard for its relations with Pakistan.
