There is a heatwave starting on Tuesday, according to the National Disaster Management Authority.

The NDMA has issued an advice stating that from Thursday through the 27th of this month, there is a high chance of severe heat wave conditions in Punjab and Sindh.

People are urged to take measures and limit their needless exposure to direct sunlight in light of the heat wave and its potentially harmful effects on their health.

It is recommended that farmers oversee their crops and modify their schedules according to the meteorological conditions.

It has also been suggested to livestock owners to shield their animals from intense heat.
